A Fil-Am, I have written a book about growing up in DC in a Catholic orphanage in the 1950s and 1960s. My memoir has numerous references to my Fil-American experiences as well as anecdotes about the orphanage, DC Catholic schools, the streets of DC, Chinatown, etc etc.
